Local Bowlers Obituary.

Beryl Burton

Sadly, I am the bearer of bad news.

Beryl Burton passed away earlier today ( Tuesday 26th May ).

She had been involved in local bowls for many years.

She represented the Pavilions Bowling Club

in both Frodsham and Runcorn evening leagues and the Ladies afternoon league.

She captained the Dolly Mixtures in the Kingsway Indoor League.

She will be sadly missed around the greens both for her competitiveness

and her jovial inter action with fellow bowlers.

Our thoughts are with Peter and all the family at this sad time.

Beryl's funeral has been arranged for Monday 15th June at 10.20 a.m.

at Walton Lea Crematorium.

All are welcome, but current restrictions will have to be observed.

There will be no access inside but the service will be available outside via the tannoy.

Donations received in her memory will be divided between the

British Heart Foundation and Halton Haven Hospice.

Terry Byrne ~ Helsby BC.
Sadly
Terry has been selected to play on the big green in the sky.
I'm sure many people will be surprised to know that Terry
was into his 90's and still bowling well last season.
He certainly didn't look anywhere near his age,
a very quietly spoken and friendly person.
He will be missed by so many.
Our thoughts are with his family
and many friends at this sad time.
